Tijara Track ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use the Tijara Track application ("the App") on any platform (Windows, macOS, or Android).

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you set up Tijara Track, we collect basic account details such as your name, business name, phone number, and email address. This information is used to create and manage your account.

Business Data

The App stores business data you enter, including sales records, purchase records, product inventory, customer details, expense records, and invoices. For Basic plan users, this data is stored only on your local device. For Pro and Enterprise plan users, this data is synced to our secure cloud servers.

Device Information

We may collect basic device information such as device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and compatibility purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the App and its features.
  • To sync your data across devices (Pro and Enterprise plans).
  • To provide customer support when you reach out to us.
  • To send important updates about the App, such as maintenance notices or new features.
  • To improve the App based on general usage patterns (no individual data is analyzed).

4. What We Do NOT Do

  • We do not sell your data to third parties — ever.
  • We do not share your business data with advertisers or marketing companies.
  • We do not use your sales, customer, or financial data for any purpose other than providing the service to you.
  • We do not display ads in the App.
  • We do not track your location.

5. Data Storage & Security

  • Basic plan: All data is stored locally on your device. We have no access to it. You are responsible for backing up your own data.
  • Pro & Enterprise plans: Data is encrypted and synced to secure cloud servers. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data during transmission and storage.
  • We do not store passwords in plain text. All authentication credentials are securely hashed.

6. Data Retention

We will never delete your data without your explicit request. Even if your maintenance subscription lapses, your data remains stored and available for export. If you wish to have your cloud data permanently deleted, you may contact us and we will process the request within 30 days.

7. Data Export

You can export all of your data — sales, purchases, inventory, customers, and expenses — at any time from within the App. Your data belongs to you and you have full access to it at all times.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may interact with the following third-party services:

  • WhatsApp: When you share invoices or reminders via WhatsApp, the App opens WhatsApp with pre-filled content. We do not access your WhatsApp contacts or messages.
  • FBR (Enterprise plan): The App may transmit invoice data to Pakistan's Federal Board of Revenue servers for tax compliance. This is done only at your initiation.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is designed for business use and is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
